About Ewan Swan

Ewan Swan Poetry Gathering is America’s most beloved poetry festival where thousands of poetry enthusiasts gather from all over the world to enjoy works from amateur to popular poets. For biographies of poets and videos of readings from previous festivals, you may check them by clicking on the ‘History’ tab above.

This year’s festival will be held at Palm Beach, Florida on August 9th and 10th. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $12 for children 12 or under. Starting June 21st, you may purchase tickets at www.espoetry.com by clicking on the ‘Tickets’ tab above.

Submissions

Everyone is welcome to submit their poetry work to be presented at the festival. Your sample could be either one long poem or include any number of shorter pieces, but please make sure that the total number of lines do not exceed 300 lines. Published and unpublished works are both accepted. Submitting a video containing poem reading is encouraged for all applicants, but not mandatory.

The last day for submitting your work is April 27. We receive a lot of submissions, so we are not able to verify the status of a submission personally, but you will all be receiving a confirmation letter by May 24. However, at the end of the selection process, only the applicants who are selected will be sent an invitation letter.

REVIEW

December 24 10:24 A.M.

I have been a member at the wellness center since five years ago. There have been numerous beneficial courses and events, but I especially am fond of the classes being offered now. By courtesy of HCWC, my son, currently swimming for his school, acquired the rare chance to not only meet but also be coached by his all time role model, for free. After only three sessions, my son and I agree that we have already gotten much faster.

I signed up for the Yoga and Pilates course, in which I missed the second session. However, with the detailed and thorough guide of the instructor, I managed to catch up in no time.

I look forward to participating in the future classes that will be offered at the center.

Cohort Magazine invites amateur and professional photographers to participate in the 4th Annual Akira Photo Contest (AAPC). To apply, please print out and fill out the application form by clicking here. The completed form should be mailed to Cohort Magazine along with a copy of your photograph and a short writing analyzing your own work.The submission must be made no later than July 19.

The 4th Annual Akira Photo Contest

Cohort Magazine invites amateur and professional photographers to participate in the 4th Annual Akira Photo Contest (AAPC). To apply, please print out and fill out the application form by clicking here. The completed form should be mailed to Cohort Magazine along with a copy of your photograph and a short writing analyzing your own work.The submission must be made no later than July 19.

Once we receive all submissions, a panel of judges will assess the artistic merits of the works that best fit the topic (this year’s topic can be found here). Our judges include certified professional photographers and our senior editors. The winner will be notified of the results by our editor-in-chief. The winning work will be displayed on the billboard outside the Cohort Magazine headquarters. We look forward to viewing works of talents from around the world.

LISTENING TEST

In the Listening test, you will be asked to demonstrate how well you understand spoken English. The entire Listening test will last approximately 45 minutes. PART 1: Directions: For each question in this part, you will hear four statements about a picture in your test book. When you hear the statements, you must select the one statement that best describes what you see in the picture. Then find the number of the question on your answer sheet and mark your answer. The statements will not be printed in your test book and will be spoken only one time. Statement (C), “They’re sitting at a table,” is the bust description of the picture, so you should select answer (C) and mark it on your answer sheet.
